NOSE SECRET, THE INSTANT NOSE RE-SHAPER TREND SWEEPING ASIA, IS IT FOR YOU?

When I first heard about Nose Secret I thought it was one of those home shopping scams. I wasn’t buying the hype.

I saw the shady YouTube videos posted by the company, and then saw a YouTube video by Michelle Phan, a very famous makeup guru with her own YouTube channel. After that video, I thought well if she thinks it’s alright, then I’ll give it a try too.

Nose secret is an instant nose corrector that you insert into your nose. It is a piece of black bendy plastic that you put into your nostrils and it reshapes the tip of your nose.

I went on nosesecret.com and decided it was best to order a kit rather than an individual nose corrector, as I didn’t know the size of my nose. I purchased the the small, medium, large kit and tried them on. The medium size turned out to be the best fit for me.  I had to play around with it for a while because if you don’t your nose, will look really upturned.

The before and after photographs show the massive difference the nose inserts made to my profile. It doesn’t make your nose smaller, or thinner, it simply elongates it to create a cuter profile. If you have a bump on your nose it also helps to hide that!

My final verdict on this product is- drum roll- a 6.8/10. One reason it isn’t a ten is because, it is quite uncomfortable to wear for long periods. It is not meant to be worn for long periods to be honest, but once you get used to how you look with them in, you kind of want to keep them in all day!

The other reason is that, because it is a product that is sitting inside an open cavity (your nostril) there is a high risk of it falling out. I can’t laugh too hard or eat with it in because it feels like it’s going to slip out.

In fact, when I wore these inserts out to a dinner party the other night one fell out right at the table! Thank goodness no one saw and I was able to discreetly put in my napkin and then later rush to the bathroom to put it back in.
