Right on trend, Max Factor is taking its rich heritage in make-up innovation and artistry to the very next level with the launch of its very own new CC cream, available in the region starting this October.

So, what’s a CC cream?

Born and developed in Korea, CC creams are the next generation of BB creams or beauty balms, which marries sheer coverage and skincare benefits together in one clever formula. Now, CC creams take these key benefits to the very next level by delivering more coverage and skincare benefits in a sophisticated multi-tasking solution.

Max Factor CC Cream provides intense complexion correction immediately on application, to create a healthy, natural-looking glowing skin statement. Available in six different shades, the CC cream starts with light and progresses to bronze, catering for all skin tones.

Max Factor Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath comments: “CC creams are mega news for 2013. Women always long for fresh and flawless, glowing skin and that’s what CC creams effectively deliver, but I find that many CC products compromise on coverage. That’s why I love Max Factor CC Cream; it delivers intense colour correction through flawless, high-level coverage plus the skincare benefits expected. It will be one of my backstage must-haves for models during fashion weeks this year as it’s perfect for creating a fresh, natural look that’s so now!”

As BB creams took the world by storm, reviews the world over showed that consumers where left confused as to how to use the formulas to achieve the very best complexion enhancing results. To save on stress, Samira Olfat, Max Factor Regional Make-up Artist, brings you the Max Factor CC Master Class, providing the optimum application method to bring on the glow in 4 simple steps:

  1. Squeeze a small amount onto your fingertips, and rub them together lightly in a circular motion; this warms the product allowing for easier application.
  2. Start the application from under your eyes and from the corners of your nose and spread the product out towards your hair line. By doing this you deposit the majority of the CC cream on the areas that need cover most coverage, then it blends seamlessly into the rest of your complexion.
  3. If you neck is slightly lighter bring the CC cream down until the tone of your face matches with your body.
  4. If you need further coverage, dab extra product onto problem areas with your finger or brush. The CC cream will layer up until you get the coverage you require.

Max Factor CC Cream is available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia from October 2013.
