FIVE WAYS TO GET FLAWLESS SKIN

To good to be true? Well… follow these simple steps and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Step 1: Don’t ever sleep with your makeup on! That is the biggest crime you could do to your skin. Wearing makeup doesn’t hurt but if you sleep with it on you are bound to wake up to a nightmare! Remember to always clean your face before you sleep. If your feeling lazy, use a wet wipe!

Step 2: Get into a skin ritual. What do I mean by this? Well you & I have a skin type, right? Get to know your skin and start following a skin regime that suits you. This usually includes 5 steps.  To give you an example, my skin is oily so, every night before going to bed:

  • I use baby oil to remove my makeup.
  • Face wash to remove the oil.
  • Tea Tree scrub but only on areas where I have excess sebum production.
  • Tea tree oil to avoid breakout.
  • A moisturiser but only under the eyes and lips.

Remember your skin regime will probably be different but the point is to have one according to your skin type.

Step 3: Drink water! You might be following all the steps to beautiful looking skin but if your not drinking enough water you will probably not see the results you want. Remember water is your skins best friend.

Step 4: Sleep well. It’s a fact if you get your 8 hours of sleep every night your skin will feel and look healthy the next day.. so no matter what work you do or how tough it is, do justice to your skin and sleep like a baby.

Step 5: Now that you have all of this covered. This last stage is about what you do before you head off to work the next day. Avoid sun exposure! Sun is good but only a limited amount of exposure to get your natural dose of vitamin D. However if your work requires you to stay long hours in the sun, you must use a sunscreen. It helps more then any of your beauty products in your skincare regime. Excess sun exposure = dry, sagging unhealthy skin. I’m sure none of us want that.

So here it is, 5 simple ways to wake up to a healthy looking skin.
