2014 marks the 100th Anniversary of Puig, a family-owned business now in its third generation, founded in 1914 in Barcelona by Antonio Puig Castelló.

What began as a small importing concern grew successively, over its first century, into a prosperous distributor of beauty products and scents; a flourishing fragrance business; a firm with an international footprint, recognized for creativity, innovation and design; a fashion company, owner of prestigious labels in Paris and New York; and now a global player in the luxury sector.

To celebrate its 100th Anniversary, Puig has produced a film that sheds new light on the company’s journey: It’s a story of passion, people and performance.

Puig, a family business characterized by its discretion, has decided to step into the spotlight with this film, which unveils the second and third generations’ personal anecdotes and memories as well as testimonials from members of the Executive Committee that directs Puig today.

Up-close interviews give this corporate film the very human dimension that characterizes the company and create an emotional connection with the audience. In addition to these interviews, the company’s history is narrated by an engaging voice-over and brought to life by images from the archives, period photographs and videos, advertising visuals and packshots, all gathered through extensive iconographic research.

To ensure the project was a success, Puig worked hand in hand with the advertising agency Mazarine Mlle Noï and the production company Moonwalk Films.

Targeting the international press as well as the general public, 100 Years of Passion will soon be available on the Puig website.
