A Burundi princess, Esther was one of the first black top models to walk the Paris runways. A generous-hearted woman of conviction, she has always been known for her humanitarian commitments, especially on behalf of women.

Through her exceptional personality, Esther shares the House’s core values: Legacy, the Culture of the Beautiful, and the promise of exceptional creations that will inspire and bring joy to all women.

The House of Guerlain and Esther Kamatari first met five years ago in Clichy-sous-Bois and Montfermeil within the framework of a partnership that brings together the towns and LVMH. Every year, the “Cultures & Creation” fashion show highlights the creativity, diversity, standards of excellence and richness of multiculturalism. Guerlain was the first House in the group to make its contribution: ten make-up artists beautifully enhance these models for a day. Esther trains them how to walk the runway, have confidence in themselves and feel beautiful, not only for a day but always.
