KEEP LIPS BEAUTIFULLY MOISTURISED WITH BUTTERFLY BALL SHIMMER TREATMENT LIPSTICK

Avoid cracked lips and keep them moisturised with Butterfly Ball Shimmer Treatment Lipstick. Inspired by her favourite childhood book The Butterfly Ball, Lipstick Queen founder Poppy King sought to recreate the light, airy and magical look of the butterfly wing to your lips.

“The butterfly wing has to be one of the most beautiful effects in the world and I have always wanted to try my hand at reproducing its transcendent beauty into a lipstick. My chemist and I found the perfect shimmer to spread through all the shades and although I would never lay claim on what Mother Nature does, I can do this in her honour,’’ says Poppy.

The formula is incredibly wet, soft and moisturising to condition your lips, while dressing them at the same time. It contains Aloe Vera, vitamins E, C and B to treat the lips, as well as film-formers to seal in moisture.

Poppy King has designed seven beautiful and subtle butterfly shades. They lie down as sheer as a wing and shimmer with a hint of turquoise when the light hits them. This blue flash is very flattering on your teeth and helps to make them appear whiter.

The shades are inspired by Mohammed Ali’s famous ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ speech where he claimed to “float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.” The shades are:

  • Float – a pale, shimmering nude.
  • Fly – a hot, shimmering pink.
  • Goodbye – a deep, shimmering wine.
  • Moment – a seductive, shimmering red.
  • Trance – a subtle, shimmering raspberry.
  • Smitten – a soft, rosebud blush.
  • Sigh – a warm and wistful mauve.

Lipstick Queen’s Butterfly Ball range is priced at AED135 each and is available in Dubai from Bloomingdales, Harvey Nichols, Areej and Paris Gallery branches in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, or online at www.beautysolutions-me.com.
