I am in love with the L’Occitane product range purely based upon their rich history in organic farming and their respect for nature, interwoven with the enchanting stories of Provence. The Angelica Exfoliating Gel smells beautiful of fresh cucumber, honey and fresh cut grass. You can almost imagine the sun swept fields of Provence with every aroma.

However, it is the texture of this product that had me a little perplexed. The gel feels a little like it is clotted. So I ventured on, spread it over my whole face and massaged it in circular motions. You do not feel any of the standard exfoliation grits, no scratching on the skin, no physical feeling of removing dead skin cells. It washed off very easily. I was more than surprised to feel how soft and luminous my skin felt afterwards. I was mystified, how could an exfoliating gel feel so soft and gentle yet do such a good job? I started to research the ingredient Angelica and besides finding it to be an incredible herb for all sorts of ailments, one of its main benefits is that it boosts circulation. It lived up to the manufacturer’s claims of it instantly reviving tired skin thanks to Angelica. If you have sensitive or dry skin, you will love this exfoliator as it is so gentle and hydrates the skin at the same time.
