Purifying and incredibly gentle on the skin, the brand new Cleansing Foam makes its first appearance in the Orchidée Impériale line, paving an “imperial” path to skincare effectiveness.

The Orchidée Impériale Cleansing Foam is enriched with the same revitalising Gold Orchid extract, to remove all impurities that may detract from the skin’s receptivity and impede the absorption of subsequent skincare.

A foam that is light yet rich in benefits: 
In the morning on awakening or in the evening after a long busy day, its pearlescent gel texture transforms on contact with water into a fine and delicately comfortable lather, gently enveloping the skin to thoroughly cleanse it. Boasting a balanced pH of 6.3 that is kind to the skin, it is applied in a soothing caress, sweeping away impurities and make-up without the slightest feeling of tightness. With a sensation of well-being rarely experienced, the skin is perfectly pure, soft and luminous, ready to recover all the vitality of its youth.

A distinctive element of Guerlain skincare and crowned with growing success, The Lotion, which has become an essential step in the Orchidée Impériale ritual, has been reinvented once again to make the Gold Orchid its new emblem. Subtly infused with the exclusive properties of a precious extract of the golden-petaled orchid, The Lotion – a real “Gold Orchid Lotion” – becomes an elixir of beauty and intense hydration that plumps up the skin.

A key prelude to the Orchidée Impériale ritual, this new-generation lotion contains an original extract of the skincare line’s star revitalising orchid: the Gold Orchid. Harvested throughout the month of April, the flowers are rapidly dried in situ, a delicate step requiring mild temperatures to prevent any damage to the plant. This is followed by molecular extraction, which involves a series of techniques and biological tests and then formulation.

In order to preserve its properties as best possible, the Gold Orchid extract is incorporated into the formula at a temperature below 25°C.
